       \n<\/div>\n\n\n<h2><strong>Simpler Trip Creation<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In the previous version, new users struggled to add a trip.&nbsp; In the interest of increasing visibility of the \u2018Trip Creation\u2019 option and for better discovery,&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>A \u201cCreate Trip\u201d button has been enabled on the trip listing page.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Users can click on the button and create a simple (ad hoc) trip.<\/li><li>On the trip list page, for each trip, a button for \u2018edit trip\u2019 has also been added for easier trip \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Create Trips without Assigning Vehicles<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Various users reported that although trip details such as picking location, date, and delivery location are known, vehicle assignment is often the last step. In case of network issues and delayed data, the trip was not updated accurately, which led to a lack of visibility.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To tackle these issues:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>We have improved the accuracy of trips states by making backend changes<\/li><li>Trips will now be updated in real-time, as and when any related alert event occurs (eg, geofence exit\/entry alerts).&nbsp;<\/li><li>Irrespective of alerts, trips will now also be updated periodically using the GPS movement data available.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Add expenses on Trips<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Some expenses are incurred during a trip and need to be mapped accordingly.
