custom threshold speed for over 10s with the phone held to the driver\u2019s ear, both the driver and fleet manager are alerted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How does it work?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>The driver-facing camera is programmed to detect mobile phone usage.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Whenever the cellphone is held to the ear for longer than 10s above the custom threshold speed.<\/li><li>The system then immediately issues an alert to the driver and fleet manager to help take remedial measures.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why is it useful?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Promotes Safe Driving<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">When the Cellphone Distraction Warning is triggered, the driver gets the chance to course correct and drive more safely. Parallelly, the fleet manager is also alerted so he\/she can coach drivers and cultivate a safer driving culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Prevents Traffic Violations<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Cell phone usage is a traffic violation almost everywhere. Traffic violations are an expense, both financially and reputationally. Both your money and reputation can be preserved with the Cellphone Distraction Warning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Drowsy Driving Warning<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is it?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">If the software judges the driver to be drowsy, an alert is issued to both the driver and the fleet manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How does it work?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>The software analyses the driver\u2019s eye blink rate and judges whether the driver is drowsy or not.<\/li><li>If the driver is judged to be drowsy while driving above the custom threshold speed, the software alerts the driver and fleet manager.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why is it useful?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Prevents Risky Driving&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>By identifying a drowsy driver, the Drowsy Driving Warning significantly reduces risky driving behaviour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Prevents Driver Fatigue Related Accidents&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Driver fatigue is an inevitable event. But the risks of distracted driving can be limited with Drowsy Driving Warning. Once alerted, the driver can take a break and rest.
