As per the new rule, an individual can get hold of a driving licence without giving the driving licence test at the RTO Offices. However, to get a driving licence without a test, it is compulsory for the applicant to have completed the mandatory training from an accredited training centre. Earlier, it was mandatory for a person to give a driving test at the local RTO only after which he\/she can get a driving licence. However, with new guidelines notified by the road ministry, cAccording to the new guidelines, a candidate has to complete the mandatory training at the accredited driver training centres. These centres offer excellent driving courses and once a candidate completes the training, he\/she will be exempted from the driving test at the time of issuance of the licence. It must be noted that the central government has the authority to make rules regarding the accreditation of training centres according to section 8 of the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The driving training centres are well equipped with a dedicated test track and simulators to offer top-notch training to the applicants.
