When selling a used car, there is a specific method that must be followed to the letter. Filling out and submitting the forms required for a successful transaction is one of the most critical aspects. Form 28 is one of the forms that must be completed. While these forms are available at any RTO, they are also available on the Parivahan Sewa website. Let’s look at the functions of each form when it comes to selling a used car.<\/span><\/p>\n

To obtain a NOC from the registering authority, you must download and complete Form 28. This form verifies that the car has no outstanding taxes, Challans, criminal histories, or other issues that could prevent you from selling it. To sell a used car, you must fill out three copies of Form 28 and submit them to the RTO.<\/span><\/p>\n

How to Download RTO Form 28?<\/h2>\n

A No Objection Certificate (NOC) is an essential document issued by the RTO for the re-registration of a vehicle in a different state. This certificate essentially states that the vehicle has no legal responsibilities and can be sold to another customer. Even if you are permanently transferring to another state, you must re-register your vehicle, which requires a NOC from the previous RTO. This legal certificate informs the new state’s RTO that there are no outstanding challans, tax dues, or FIRs against the vehicle owner and that the old RTO has granted authorization to re-register or transfer ownership of the vehicle.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n
