A trade certificate must be obtained and kept valid. This can be done by submitting Form 16 to the RTO.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If your trade certificate is genuine and is stolen or lost, you must register a complaint and obtain a copy of the FIR from the local police station. This FIR is required to apply for a duplicate trade certificate. A police report is not required in the case of a damaged or toned trade certificate.
