How to fill RTO Form 20?

RTO form 20 is divided into four sections. The first element is required for all vehicles; the second part is only required for transport vehicles; the third portion includes an inspection certificate, and the fourth part is only required for official certification.   • At the time of filling out the form, indicate your name, father’s name, and age in points 1, 2, and 3. If you are currently dwelling at a temporary or official address, make a note of it in points 4 and 5, as well as the length of your stay there.
  • Fill up your permanent account number at point 6. (PAN). This function, however, is optional; if the vehicle costs less than Rs 4 lakh, you can leave this field blank.

These details include tire specifications, gross vehicle weight, axle weight, and rigid frame motor vehicle measurements. If you want to register an additional semi-trailer, fill in points 33 to 36 with the body type, unladen weight, tire description, and maximum axle weight for each component.

  • In point 39, enter the fees you paid for the vehicle’s registration application. Below this point, affix your signature and date. You can also use this spot to place your thumb impression.
  • Following your signature, you must identify the sort of vehicle you are driving. Along with your signature under this declaration, the Financer should also endorse the form.
  • After the vehicle type description, there comes a certificate of inspection and an official endorsement. In this place, the Inspecting Authority affixes his signature and date, as well as the registration number.
  • Finally, both the Financer and the Registered Owner sign Form 20 in the final section. The Financer receives this acknowledgment from the Registering Authority via registered mail.
