How to fill RTO Form 34?
There are two portions to RTO Form 34. The first section comprises information about the Registered Owner and the Financier, while the last section is an official endorsement of the two parties’ hire-purchase, lease, or hypothecation arrangement. A step-by-step guide to completing Form 34 is provided below.
- Begin filling out RTO Form 34 by writing the name of the RTO under whose authority you want the agreement to be entered in the top left-hand corner of the application.
- Fill in the next blank with your vehicle’s registration number. Fill in the following blank with the name of the Registered Owner.
- Now, provide the Financier’s full name and address as it appears on the agreement copy.
- To complete section 1 of this application, the Registered Owner and the Financier sign and date the document. If the owner is unable to sign the paper, he can use his thumb impression instead.
- The representative of the Registering Authority enters the RTO’s reference number and address in the official endorsement section. He also specifies the date on which the hire-purchase, lease, or hypothecation arrangement was recorded on the Registration Certificate.
- On the Form, the RTO official signs his name and dates it. He also inputs the Financier’s and Registering Authority’s names (if they change from the ones mentioned at the start of Form 34).
- Finally, affix the Financier’s sample signature.
