Telangana HSRP: High-Security Number Plate For New & Old Vehicles in Telangana
The installation of the High Security Registration Plates has been made mandatory by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. This comes in the light of revisions in the regulations of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989. The High Security Registration Plates are a new kind of tamper proof number plates made from aluminum. The HSRP Plates have a chromium-based Ashok Chakra on the left with ‘IND’ written on it.
The vehicle identification number in these plates are laser coded, which makes them easy to scan.
