RTO CC Form: Clearance Certificate

If the owner wishes to remove or sell his or her car from the jurisdiction of the State’s Registering Authority. The owner must submit an application for a clearance certificate on plain paper to the Registering Authority where the vehicle is registered, along with the necessary documents: Registration Certificate, Insurance Certificate, Tax Card, Permit, and Fitness Certificate (in the event of a transport vehicle) will be required, as well as the payment of any tax arrears.

How to fill RTO Clearance Certificate Form?

To get a clearance certificate issued you can fill out the form using the following steps:

  1. The first thing you need to do is fill out the “From” address of the RTO that the vehicle is being transferred from. It can be found at the top left corner of the form.
  2. The next thing you need to do is fill out the Place and Date of the form that is being filled.
  3. Next, fill in the address of the RTO that the vehicle is being transferred to.
  4. The subject is to be filled as, “Issue of Clearance Certificate”.
  5. Next, you need to fill in the following information:

Documents Needed with Clearance Certificate Form

For the successful submission of the clearance certificate, you need the following documents:

  • Application on Plain Paper mentioning that car is been sold to a new person (whose name and address mentioned) along with vehicle details and request for issuance of Clearance certificate
  • ID & Address Proof of New Buyer
  • ID & Address Proof of Seller
  • Copy of RC, Insurance
  • Chassis Imprint of Vehicle
