RTO Form 32: Application for Transfer of Ownership in case of a Motor Vehicle Purchased or Acquired in Public Auction

Transferring ownership of a car is important because it protects the vehicle and transfers all legal obligations to the purchaser. Transferring ownership entails changing the automobile owner’s name from yours to the buyer’s or transferring the title of the vehicle from one owner to the other. The transfer of ownership is obligatory under Motor Vehicle Act, 1988. A transfer of ownership of the car is required to avoid future problems and complications with vehicle registration, insurance policies, and so on.
