Mahindra and Mahindra has stepped up once again to contribute to the nation’s fight against coronavirus. From offering support in terms of low cost ventilators, manufacturing face shields and aerosol boxes, the company has now announced its effort to help migrant workers who are travelling back to their homes.

The company said that it is working in collaboration with Mahindra dealer parters across the country to provide support to migrants. Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Director – Auto and Farm Sectors, Mahindra and Mahindra, announced via Twitter the company’s decision, saying that Mahindra will provide support by collaborating with 139 district magistrates in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Odisha with the help of their automotive and tractor dealers.
Commenting on the same, Anand Mahindra, Chairman, Mahindra Group, tweeted that the company would be looking at long term initiatives to continue to help out the migrant population of the country.
